1 Dead, 14 Injured in Tran Illimani Bus-SUV Collision on Oruro-Potosí Highway

A head-on collision between a Trans Illimani bus and an SUV on the highway between Oruro and Potosí has left one person dead and 14 injured. The accident occurred early this morning on the stretch between Llallagua and Huanuni at the 60 km mark when the SUV invaded the lane of the passenger bus.

Early Reports and Casualties: Social media reports indicate that the driver of the SUV died in the crash. His wife is among the 14 injured who were transported to medical centers in Llallagua and Uncia.

Investigation Underway: Bolivian police are on the scene to remove the body, assist the injured, and investigate the cause of the accident.
