Travelers on Ruta Nacional 6 face disruptions due to a reported roadblock near the 60km mark in northern Potosí. Social media accounts and the ABC’s Road Accessibility Map confirm the roadblock.
Videos posted by Facebook user Magnus Alexander show a section of the highway blocked carpeted with rocks and small boulders with a small group protesters.
The reason behind the protest, according to Alexander, is threefold:
Demand for unrestricted fuel sales to undocumented vehicles at gas stations.
